Give me your 6'5" and I will trade you my 5'8" and I will gladly ride in coach with my heels almost at my rump and my knees at my nose.
Was on a Delta 737 last month and I tried several seats and they only reclined about 8 inches at the top, roughly the thickness of the headrest. NOt sure whether all the seats were that way.
One thing I should try (can someone 6'5" do it in a window seat?) is turn around and kneel on the seat facing backwards, several times during the flight to stimulate blood circulation.
