What's the real story?

I really don't have much to add in response to DougC's question. However, I do want to know what happenned to the WorldKids Club in DTW?

It seems that there was one at some point. The sign for it is still up in the hallway which you exit from when taking the elevator down from security. One day I decided to peek in to see what was there. To my surprise, it looks like it is now an employee lounge of some sort. I didn't bother to ask anyone since they all appeared to be donning the red NW sweaters and just lounging.

It's too bad. Something like that would really put McNamara over the top!

Does anyone know the really story about that WorldKids Club? Was it ever open to the public?

EDIT: After some Googling, it sppears the WorldKids Club is for housing unaccompanied minors in transit. Airport indoor playgrounds for a fee - I sense a business opportunity here!
