No contest, Whistler is by far the best in North America. Great snow and lifts, challenging terrain (actually too challenging for me, though they have scaled down most of the moguls) and most importantly a nice village with some very fine food. Maybe some of the best food in the US/Canada (which is unusual for seasonal resorts). And an ambiance that makes walking around and drinking in the atmostphere enjoyable, though I guess pre-Olympic construction is in full swing now making Whistler a bit less enjoyable than before.
