What are "gift miles" from Member Services, Inc.?
I got this email this afternoon:

This e-mail confirms that the 500 SkyMiles you received from Member Services, Inc. on 02/11/2003 should be posted to account number ******** within 48 hours, but please allow up to 5 business days.

Does anyone know what Member Services, Inc. is or why I was "gifted" these miles?
