That's the attitude. FA's who get bored easily are the best because then they tend to take care of their passengers the way they deserve to be taken care of. I never understand how some of them prefer just sitting down and reading. I thought doing extra work that makes people happy (granted some passengers are not very gracious in return, which makes it less rewarding) will always make yourself happy. Win-win.
As my high school English teacher used to say, "They don't PAY me enough to put up with you monkeys!" If I were making $22k per year as a FA, I would wonder why I should bust my butt when I could spend the time reading instead. Waiters in top-notch restaurants make much more than that, and they don't even get the radiation equivalent of a chest X-ray every few days.
