As it turns out we may be doing this through FRA. I went online and was able to secure 2 BE (Sky Saver ^ ) award seats on the 777 both ways--if DL doesn't change that equipment before then.

We will have to connect from there with LH (Lufthansa). I started a separate thread regarding that just now, and since those of you who responded here seem quite knowledgeable about these matters, please look there and give me an opinion on the question I posed there.
