I remember I used to have my little sister put her hear next to the headrest and then turn the volume on full.
Then Mom gave me a little slap.
My sister and I used to amuse ourselves for quite a few hours with those as kids. They were handy as a fake stethoscope, or one of us would wear them and the other would whisper "secrets" into the plug end. My sister would wait for me to have them on, and then blow as hard as possible into the tubes.
Of course I fell for it every time.
