FL250 is the highest an aircraft is allowed to fly with an inop O2 mask system.
That is why DH8s and the like never fly above Fl250 because they don't have drop down masks.
I don't think that this was the case yesterday. Both of my flights yesterday were at FL 250 and FL 240. BackSeat reported that his YWG destined flight had a planned altitude of FL320 and had to come down en route for calmer air.
My inbound to YWG last night had slight turbulence for a significant portion of the journey.
....unless all the airbus fleet had oxygen problems all at once.
