Make sure you go to the toilet at night so you'll have something to do.
Probably be best to hire a car if you can, that way Kobe/Osaka/Kyoto will be accesible via the spectacular Akashi Kaikyo bridge. I've only really been through tokushima so can't tell you too much about it but I have been to Kochi (went there today actually) and it's worth a visit especially on Sundays when they have the market. The Shikoku coastline is quite pretty as well.
