FL250 is the highest an aircraft is allowed to fly with an inop O2 mask system.
That is why DH8s and the like never fly above Fl250 because they don't have drop down masks.
On
all the Dash flights I have been on,the highest flight level has been announced at FL210.
Why do pilots/FAs give passengers this information,as opposed to fuel burn per hour,weight of aircraft on take-off.....?
