Thanks BahrainLad and Globaliser for putting me out of my misery with the window thing. ^

Moving on, I find that the retro liveries never look particularly convincing on modern aircraft. The LH airbus example looks ungainly to me and dare I say, plastic even. Similarly, the sleek lines of the Victors VC-10 or the rugged expression of the 'Ground Grabber' would be lost altogether if dressed in the Chatham Dockyard livery.

BA's brand image is strong enough not to have to resort to this
