AA should be able to offer a high quality service based on the fares it charges for its premium cabin. The quality of service provided by the crew is ( or should be ) a nigh on no cost improvement for example. On the counter side, although they have high published fares, what percentage of the cabin actually pays those fares in relation to those being using upgrades? I posit that the Asian carriers have a higher percentage of premium class passengers paying for the premium cabin
