We have a two week tour planned with 2 other couples of Costa Rica....we are scheduled to see Monteverde at the end of trip...which, in carefully reading our itinerary, means driving 4+ hours one way for basically two nights and one day @ Monteverde. I am guessing that we will all be pretty tired after having spent the first 10 days together and I am now wondering about the wisdom of this segment.

An alternative suggested was to spend a few days at the Peace Lodge. It looks nice and evidently has quite a few activities surrounding it....

Wondering about any feedback you might have for those who have been to either place in CR.......
