Once you charge >25K on your BofA or Juniper account, 10K of the DM in your account become Preferred Miles (those that count for status)
BTW, where can one find what Juniper or BofA say about EQM?
US uses the term Preferred rather than Elite. As in "We earn preferred miles when we fly". There is Silver, Gold, Platinum an Chairman's Preferred levels.
If we get double miles for anything other than buying US products, I'm not aware of it.
Hope it answers your qustion.

That sort of answers my questions (and helps me with the different terms, "Preferred Miles" with DM vs "Elite Qualifying Miles" with MP). Still wish to be clear that when your spend with BofA or Juniper goes beyond $25K, you get 10K of Preferred Miles with no loss of accumulated RDM (redeemable miles). And would like to know where to find this stated by BofA or Juniper, since I didn't see it with my applications to either when I signed up with them.
(My interest in status with US is marginal given that I am 1P with UA and do most of my flying with US, but still would like to know these details.)
Thanks for your help.
(BTW, did BofA or Juniper afford their cardholders to the opportunity to earn "double miles" by paying their taxes with those cards, as did Chase with the UA Visa cards, SPG Amex, and CitibankAA?)
