I'm at the hotel Elysee right now and a big ^ ^ . Rate is $300/night and it is a really nice little boutiquey hotel on East 54th. Ask for a high room (above ten) for some decent views of the city and a quieter room. We had a room at first on the 3rd floor and it was much too loud and kind of weird with frosted windows instead of the ones you can see out of. Our 2nd room is quite lovely. Worth checking out.
