It's not that its short - it's just that it can be operated by any run of the mill 777. Long (or Ultra Long) would be things like 18.5 hrs SIN-EWR, 18 hrs SIN-LAX, 17.5hrs BKK-JFK, etc. There aren't really that many of them.
