More complications....... I found out yesterday that I might have to be in Boston in the morning. So I will take a flight back to IAD at 13:00.

I tried to call IAD at 703-572-3180 but no answer.......

So I can probably head straight to the lovely NW lounge and check in there and negotiate upgrade if UA can't check me in at Logan? I imagine that it will be open with SK staff by 14:30?

So the rule is cash at check-in and points at the gate.
