no mention of rate at checkin, although there seemed to be a suggestion that i use the 10% discount coupon proffered to eat dinner there tonight. the room is truly great, with one major problem-- it reeks of paint fumes. i turned off the ac and opened the door to the balcony and left shortly after checkin to do something out of the room. i don't know if this was intentional or not, but at the price i'm happy with the issue. if it weren't for the fumes, this is a stellar place to stay, and i'd return in the future at the going rate.
