SkyMiles Members Can Earn Miles at Sofitel,
Novotel and Mercure

Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has
announced that Accor, one of the world's largest travel, tourism and corporate
services groups, has become a partner in the SkyMiles program. Sofitel,
Novotel and Mercure, Accor's upscale and midscale hotel brands, will
participate in the partnership effective Feb. 1, 2003.
SkyMiles members will earn 500 miles per qualifying stay* at Sofitel
hotels and 250 miles per qualifying stay at Novotel and Mercure hotels.
Unless otherwise state, all SkyMiles program rules and conditions apply.
To celebrate the partnership, select Sofitel hotels will offer 2,003 miles
per three-night minimum stay through May 31, 2003. Novotel and Mercure hotels
will offer double miles, or a total of 500 miles per stay, at participating
hotels through May 31, 2003.

international hotel network with 1,200 locations throughout the world,
including a strong presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America and new

*A stay is defined as any one period of consecutive days as a registered
guest, regardless of the number of check-ins and check-outs. Qualifying stay
refers to rates that are public individual rates and global or specific
corporate rates (rack, corporate and preferred) in the case of Sofitel, and
rack rates in the case of Novotel and Mercure. Restrictions apply.

Terms and Conditions
Eligible rates at Sofitel hotels are rack, published corporate, preferred
corporate and company rates. Eligible stays at Novotel and Mercure hotels are
based on rack rates only. Members must present their SkyMiles card upon
check-in. SkyMiles members who are members of other frequent flyer programs
and/or any Accor loyalty programs and who are eligible for mileage or points
credit can only earn mileage or points for one program. Sofitel mileage bonus
is based on a minimum three-night consecutive stay at the same hotel. Stays
on qualifying rates less than 3 nights will be credited 500 miles per stay.
