Arriving on a flight ORD-MAN, just as we were on approach, the 'phone that the passenger on the other side of the cabin has left turned on in their carry-on (in the overhead) grabs the network and starts beeping really loudly as the queued-up text messages get delivered. Then it starts ringing. Only the seat-belt sign is on, so he can't get up to silence it and everyone just glares in his general direction until the plane lands.
