Exactly! I'm one for paying taxes honestly, for the most part. However, if I were to sell something like this, I would let this slide. Is it techinally illegal to do this? Sure. In a case like this, I really don't care. I pay enough taxes...some of which I'm sure I could get away with if I tried. I could make up expenses for my rental property, for example. I don't. If I made a few bucks selling something, I'd not bother, and not feel a whit of guilt.
