Not sure if we signed up for "pet class," but the few times we have taken our dog as carry-on (last time was to visit my Mother for her 80th birthday), we have rec'd 600 miles in my account for each direction. The cost on UN was $80 each direction. Not a great bang for the buck, but better than nothing--I'll take 1,200 miles!

That's one pampered pooch.....she's never flown coach!
