The good news for me is that somebody in Expedia Corporate (Let's say Ms "K"), just telephoned me to say that Expedia will, in fact, change the reservation date as I had requested.

I am using one of those Expedia coupons. Anyway, that's great news! Thank you for setting a precedent. That should help me in case they give me flack about making a change.
