I am willing to pay a reasonable change fee. The rules section on the Expedia reservation page state, "Any changes to or cancellation of your reservation may result in fees from $23.44 up to the full cost of your stay." $23.44 is reasonable, but the full cost of my stay is not.
I need to change my reservation as well by a few days. My reservation page reads as follows:
Any changes to or cancellation of your reservation may result in fees from $23.62 up to the full cost of your stay.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellations or changes made before 12:00 PM (Tokyo Standard Time) on 7/4/2006 are subject to a $23.62 penalty.
Cancellations or changes made after 12:00 PM (Tokyo Standard Time) on 7/4/2006 are subject to a 100% Cost of Stay penalty.
This clearly states that the change penalty is $23.62 if the change is made by the indicated date/time.
Does yours read the same? I haven't bothered calling them yet.
