Yup.

Boarded in GOT. Changed in CPH and got off in LIS. Ohone on the whole time and didn't realise until I got off the plane. And it wasn't checked in. Thank god mine didn't work abroad at the time. Would have been highly embarassing if the over head compartment would have been ringing had a call come through.

As for packing valuebles. I know someone who was highly irrate when BA would not cover the cost for damages to a suitcase (hard case with no TSA locks and the owner had locked it) and the loss of the laptop inside it. I also think there was jewelry missing too.

I just stood there jaw on floor. "you actually lock your suitcase on intraeuropean flights AND you stick your laptop in there?"

The fact that airlines actually recommend you to not do either (lock your bag if you want to but if we want to get in to it we will break the lock) had completely gone over the persons head.

And this person is a seasoned traveller.
