And I hope I haven't undermined your welcome advice here. I've been extremely pleased that you've been able to balance MrLapLap's experiences with your own.
As a client, your outlook, personality and expectations are going to hugely affect the outcome of any dealings with this company. If you are confident and sure of yourself, I fully believe you can come out with an excellent product and a very good deal.
If you're not, you may likely still get a great result by going in with a SO who is (as long as they're with you from the start). And document all your choices/agreements!
Otherwise, (intake of breath 'plumber style') I'd advise against the idea. It'll cost ya!
