Hello everyone. I am a Delta Medallion flyer, but a few nights ago I won two Lufthansa tickets at a charity auction. The tickets are for two round trip biz class fares from CLT to MUC, and I wanted them since I have an upcoming vacation to Germany but was waiting on the Delta coach fares to move.

My vacation is in Hesse, so I would like to fly into Frankfurt if at all possible. The Lufthansa rep at the auction said I could either get to Washington and fly out there to FRA, or take a connecting flight in DE from MUC to FRA. From experienced Lufthansa flyers; which would you rather do? Will it be the same aircraft from CLT and Washington? Or, would it be better to fly from CLT and connect in MUC?
My second question is about Lufthansa biz class: What can my wife and I expect?

In March I was on MUC - CLT - MUC on First. All CLT-flights are with new C-Class, I heard that FRA - Washington started this month with new C-Class, from this perspective it doesn't matter. From MUC to FRA there is a flight every hour. So thats your desicion. The connecting time in Munich could be under 30 minutes, because every *flight is from the same terminal.
I like Munich bette, but thats objective.
