Regarding the US Concierge/PTS/CTS - PTS UK once told me that specifically US PTS does not want to deal with customers from other parts of the world. Other PTSs/CTSs will help other customers as well and that could be one reason why UK didn't contact US colleagues.

Maybe you would be satisfied with Platinum card - I have been quite satisfied with CS/PTS/Concierge UK.
