Nothing worked for me when it was a matter of a few days between reaching GLD and taking that next flight (or PLT for that matter). It just takes a while for the system to catch up.
Even then, after AA.com showed PLT, my prior BPs did not! But, the system knows that you are elite, so you don't have to worry about it.
If your BP prints non-elite, go to an agent and they will change it for you. For check-in/security/boarding... all you need is your BP printed or stamped elite. You will almost never need the card.
