I feel a bit guilty now. It turns out I enrolled for a promotion that was for Illinois residents only even thought I'm a California resident (and enrolled with a California address), and received 5000 bonus miles. The agent on the phone was a bit suspicious about how I was able to register for this promotion seeing as how I was not an Illinois resident but agreed to transfer the miles to AGR anyways.

I guess I cheated the system? :-( She mentioned that they would be fixing this loophole now that she knew about it so I guess I killed it for everyone else.
