I think there is a typo on the Qantas website. If you are wanting to book that ticket, I suggest you call and confirm what class it books into - I seriously don't think the answer is Y.
Thanks Aus_Mal
Yeh, the cheapest Y fare I could find 'one way' was a YOX fare at $3147. Most of the other sites are all around $3200 mark, so I was pretty sure the $1307 QF fare wasnt a full Y fare, but was confused why they had it as full economy on the rules.

Will give them a call today to double check..And report back..

Cheers

Update 11.15am:
As expected the North American Rep had no idea. She said the fare will earn full economy SC, but had to use D.E miles to upgrade to business. She did say it was a K class fare.

Have now sent an email to see if I can get a straight answer.

The page in question is this one

Update 11.30am:
Another interesting thing, is if I go through and purchase the ticket, the same rule "Classed as Economy for Status Credit Earn" appears in the 'Flight Conditions' rules of the ticket.
