Secondly, if he had already missed his flight the concierge has nothing to do with re ticketing. That is strictly done at the ticketing counter a sper procedure of almost all airlines.
The flight was late when it left YVR and he knew possibly before takeoff that he was going to miss his cnx.he coul have used the in flight telephone to call his TA,his real service provider and asked them for alternatives that they could have had worked out prior to his arrival in YYZ. His problem was not a concierge's job but one for his corporate TA to fix up a sit required another ticket to be issued. Even though he had started his voyage he had a full J ticket that was somewhat restricted due to a corp deal. That's what I would have done..its called thinking and acting about your options
Because a concierge was not on duty at arrival of the flight he was not met by one but an AC green agent is always at the gateway when flights arrive.

Oh BS he never ever mentioned that possibility.....but in any event the flight staff could have and may have sent a message to ops in YYZ alerting them of the pax's arrival...the fault if any was the ground team's failure to acknowledge the pax's arrival and get him properly re-ticketed per the procedures or it was his fault for not thinking about it while travelling to YYZ.
Because they were not there.........pretty damn simple.

It seems to me you picked an abnormal situation because it suits your whining approach. This kind of stuff can happen late at night, unfortunately.
BTW I recently got ditched off the last yul/yyz flight that was cancelled due to pilot "illness". I simply went to the desk asked for my hotel voucher and was in the hotel 15 minutes later....no whining no fuss and no concierge requested or needed.
Let me ask another question...do you ever buy a J fare ticket?
IMO the LIM pax acted kind of dumb.
