Hm. I'm now on the waitlist for the Saturday flight. Numbers now as follow:

AC 870 333 J9 C5 Y0 M0 U0 B0 H0 V0 Q0 L0 A0 N0 I0

The agent I spoke to thought they would probably wait until the gate to clear the waitlist, rather than clearing anyone in advance.

I've never done an on-line check-in with an upgrade pending. I know it's best to check in as early as possible. Is there some system whereby one can indicate on-line that one wants to be put on the upgrade list, or am I better off checking in at the airport to get on the list?
