Phones that can be used around the world are usually much more expensive then just the ones for local use.

Does anyone know if each SIM card comes with its own phone number?
Err... dual/tri-band GSM's can be bought used for dirt cheap. I just looked up the local Buy & Sell and saw a couple of them for $49 obo. Unlocking just adds another $20.

Do NOT buy a world phone with Telus because their system isn't designed for it.

And, yes, each SIM has its own number.
