I did check with Telus before but found out that it's much more inexpensive to just buy a phone in Asia and use it there.
Phones that can be used around the world are usually much more expensive then just the ones for local use.

Looks like I'll just get a phone at a cellphone store in HK.
I asked this earlier but haven't received an answer yet.
Does anyone know if each SIM card comes with its own phone number?
