I have a Pocket PC device activated on Rogers (the $90 plan mentioned above). Data charges when roaming in the UK are nothing short of extortionate, so I try and avoid using it while I'm over there. My solution was to buy a mini SD wi-fi card for my device, so at least I can get my email, etc. when I'm at a hotspot, without using mobile data service.
Actually, does anyone know how the revenue split works for the data roaming when in Europe? Would be interesting to know who's making the money.
