As noted by other travelers, that takes too many off-line connections on other forms of transport. In addition, I am based in New Haven rather than NYC, so even getting to NYP would be taxi + train. And actually with the cost of the Acela, that routing might actually be more expensive.

With the routing I'm doing, I waste a fair amount of time, but I just have 3 on-line, air-to-air connections, and I'm earning 10,000 miles (5,000 EQM) on the way to MYR...not to mention I get to redeem my $400 domestic-only UA cert.
