Best easy-to-operate MP3 player for mom
I want to get my 60+ mother an MP3 player for mother's day. She has tried my dad's MP3 and liked it, but wants one of her own. She'd mostly use it for listening to FM radio and listening to audio books, although she'd also use it sometimes for listening to music. My dad is a techno-geek (retired engineer) and he can help her with playlists, downloading audiobooks etc. But the player itself needs to be easy to operate, especially for an older person with less than perfect vision and slightly arthritic hands.
I thought about an ipod, because they have some kind of exclusive deal with audible.com, but I thought ipod doesn't have a radio. I don't think she'd be keen on having to use or link two devices to get both functions.
As she is my mom, price is no object. I plan on buying it either in Vancouver or Washington State on an upcoming visit home. Any recommendations?
