A big thanks to
Brian and
Escocesa for organizing a fabulous DO. ^ And it was a pleasure meeting some FTers for the first-time, and of course catching up with the usual suspects.
The flight up was great fun with quite a bit of booze in the Diamond Club, and then some quite decent roast beef and Thai Fishcakes (2 portions no less
) inflight. Oh, and everybody managed to get upgraded with bmi GUVs.
And then the Hilton Grosvenor managed to provide us with 2 full bottles of red, which worked a treat too!

Almost everyone was quite well-behaved, and there weren't really
