This is a tangent from the other thread on legroom in coach on A330. The tedeman family is flying transatlantic this summer, so we're all in coach and sitting row 32 going and row 26/27 coming back to US. Two questions:
1) Is there really a difference in legroom and pitch (as seatguru.com claims they have greater pitch 33" from 31") from rows 10-28 to rows 29-44? NWA agents say no, but I'm curious as to the reality.
2) Has anyone sat in 27C or 27G? Can the seats really not recline at all? Given that the whole family is with me, that's where we are currently, but wondering if the lavatory noise, the lack of recline (I usually don't sleep coming back anyway) would be worth moving us to rows 29-44 somewhere.
Sorry for the mundane questions. When I fly by myself or with Mrs. Tedeman, we're usually,
ahem, farther forward.
