We Brits can sympathise. We look at the generally far superior offers available to North American members of FF and frequent guest schemes. BUT you can if you wish benefit from lower status earning levels with BA than the Brits.
The consensus is that BA gold will not be available with this card, though speculation suggests that BD gold may be. If you have a UK AmEx card, perhaps they will be able to make arrangements with BD for you?
We'll just have to see what's in the relaunch.
