When I participated in the 5/10/15 night offer earlier this year, the rewards were based on nights and not stays. As soon as I reached each level of nights, I got an e-mail from HHonors with the subject: Reward Certificate Email. It also looks like the certs are good for 1-year from the date of issuance.

HOW TO REDEEM YOUR PROMOTIONAL REWARD
All travel Rewards are subject to certain restrictions.

Reward usage is subject to capacity controls which limit the availability of rooms available for redemption at certain hotels and during certain times of the year.

Confirmation will be required at check-in; Reward will not be honored without it. Accommodations are based on hotel's Reward availability at the time of reservation request.

To make a Reward reservation, from the U.S. and Canada, call 1-800-HHONORS if you haven't already. Outside the U.S. and Canada, call your local Hilton Reservations Worldwide office. Advise the reservations agent at the time that you will be using an HHonors Reward (and advise for which Reward code the Confirmation is valid as shown.) Failure to follow this procedure may result in cancellation of reservations, denial of accommodations or payment of the rack rate in effect at the time of your stay.

All relevant Terms and Conditions herein apply.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Reward Confirmations are nontransferable after issuance and are valid for use only by the person whose name is specified on the face of the Confirmation. If a person other than the individual named on the Confirmation attempts to use it, the Confirmation will be deemed void and accommodations will be denied.
2. Rewards may not to be sold, auctioned, bartered, brokered or purchased except with the express written consent of Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC. Any Rewards obtained in this manner by any person or entity will be considered to be fraudulently obtained and will be deemed void if transferred for cash or other consideration. Altered or photocopied Reward Confirmations are void and will not be honored.
3. Rewards may not be combined with other Confirmations, certificates, discounts, packages or promotional offers unless otherwise specified by Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC.
4. Reward Confirmations cannot be redeemed for cash, prizes or credit. Rewards are not exchangeable.
5. Reward Confirmations will not be replaced, reissued or credited if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed. Rewards for travel which have already been ticketed cannot be re-deposited. Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC, is not responsible for performance of the U.S. or local Postal Service or other suppliers.
6. Reward Redemption is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
7. Hilton HHonors Worldwide, LLC, is not responsible for, and assumes no liability for, transportation or other services our partners provide or fail to provide.
8. Airline mileage credit may not be earned when redeeming an HHonors Reward Confirmation, unless specifically indicated by relevant Terms and Conditions.

PROMOTIONAL REWARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Participating hotels and Reward classifications may change at any time without notice at Hilton HHonors Worldwide's sole discretion. Please refer to http://www.hiltonhhonors.com/ to search for participating hotels and Reward classifications. Once on the Hilton HHonors homepage, click on HHonors Rewards, then click on Hotel Rewards where you can view a menu of options including a search for hotels.
2. Accommodations are subject to capacity controls, which may limit the availability of rooms offered at specific participating hotels or during specific times of the year. You may obtain a current year list of Hotel Reward Blackout dates by visiting http://www.hiltonhhonors.com or by contacting the HHonors Customer Service Centers. Additional Blackout dates may be imposed with or without notice.
3. Confirmations must be surrendered at time of check-in and are applicable to standard accommodations only and exclude suites, villas and special accommodations at selected hotels. HHonors Gold and Diamond VIP members are eligible for upgraded accommodations or amenities at HHonors hotels where available and subject to HHonors Upgraded Accomodations / Amenities policy.
4. No points will be deposited into member's HHonors account as compensation for unused promotional certificates.
5. Confirmation is redeemable for accommodations from date of issuance and valid through 02/28/2007. Promotional certificates cannot be extended.
6. Reward Confirmations apply to double occupancy room rate and tax only. Any tax liability incurred in connection with the receipt and/or use of HHonors Rewards, including, but not limited to, local or city occupancy taxes, international departure tax, customs fees, airport surcharges or individual income tax is the sole responsibility or the user. Incidental charges are the responsibility of the guest.
7. All Reward reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Some hotels may require a deposit in lieu of a credit card guarantee. Deposits cannot be waived for Reward reservations. Reservations that are canceled outside of the time frame set by the participating hotel's cancellation policy will be charged one night's room and tax at the hotel's minimum rate for that date.
8. HHonors Rewards are not commissionable to travel agents.
9. Recipients of special Rewards will be required to sign a release of liability and a statement permitting the use of their name and/or photo for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
10. Reward stays are not eligible to receive stay credit for promotional offers.

Hilton HHonors membership, earning of Points & Miles and redemption of points are subject to HHonors Terms and Conditions 2005 Hilton HHonors Worldwide.
