Needless to say the above quote fell into the third category. Vandalism might just be stretching it a little. If you want to keep the menus that desperately, I don't see how a polite request and a bright smile wouldn't achieve a similar outcome. Moreover I find it hard to fathom that you'll end up in a tug-of-war style situation with the FAs over the menus, which is what you seem to be suggesting, especially not on a world class airline like SQ.
That's what I was thinking, but couldn't find a nice way to put it in writing...thanks for doing so I've never had a problem with keeping the menu on the limited number of SQ flights I've had - only once was it collected before I was able to remove the menu from the folder and all I had to do was politely ask if I might have one to keep.
