I read about many things on FT. Some make me go @:-) , others I cringe at a little but put it down to the fact that it's FT after all - typical of hobby forums. Then there are other things that I stare at for a long time and wonder if I should re-read the post with a hint of irony or fear for the sanity of certain individuals. Often I can't make up my mind.

Needless to say the above quote fell into the third category. Vandalism might just be stretching it a little. If you want to keep the menus that desperately, I don't see how a polite request and a bright smile wouldn't achieve a similar outcome. Moreover I find it hard to fathom that you'll end up in a tug-of-war style situation with the FAs over the menus, which is what you seem to be suggesting, especially not on a world class airline like SQ.
