My $.02: The Holiday Inn isn't the "nicest" hotel in downtown Lincoln. I would recommend staying at the "Cornhusker by Marriott" or the Embassy Suites which are near the Holiday Inn and usually have some type of "gameday" package.

Thanks for the help...I'm arriving and leaving via Amtrak and it appears that the Holiday Inn is only 2 blocks from the train station and also walkable to the stadium as well...the Embassy Suites was sold out unfortunately...also, as a Colorado fan, I cant fathom staying in the "Cornhusker Hotel"...just a psych thing
