Some friends say that regular seats could be better because armrests can go up and baby can lie down on the seat. What do you think?

In addition, what do you think about Baby B'Air flight vest? This will be the first time our two kids make such a long trip and I am just a little bit nervous.
Not every airline has the bassinets. (not sure about NW). I would go with regular seats. It has been great for us on long flights with our son who is under 1... Dont worry about long trip, it will be great!
