DW and DS (9 months) just got back from visiting his great-grandmother. She took the Britax Boulevard and can't say enough good things about the GoGo Kidz attachment that turns the Britax seat into a makeshift stroller! ^ She said it fit down the aisle of just about every aircraft they were on except the RJ (a ramp agent carried him up the stairs, no jetway) and 737 coach section (but they were only 3 rows into steerage so she could carry him to their seats).

He's on formula so she takes the Enfamil "sticks"--pre-packaged pouches of formula--for the outbound and return flights. While at the destination, she just picks up a large can from Sam's Club. She bought 2 Graco TravelLite travel cribs and 2 lightweight strollers to leave at Nana and her best friend's houses. After reading the posts about Maclarens, we'll probably pick one up as our secondary stroller to go in my sedan's trunk and for use while traveling.

We use cloth diapers (Fuzzi Bunz and Bum Genius) and NappSacks wet bags for the dirty diapers, never had a problem with them. We do keep 3 or 4 disposables on hand for emergencies/delays etc.

When we took the cruise last year, we packaged our own pre-measured formula pouches using the FoodSaver. Also vacuum packed pouches of detergent for laundry. We caved in to the comments we got when I posed the question on cruise chat about using the laundry room for the cloth diapers and used disposables instead. Luckily, he didn't have any problems (he's never had diaper rash) probably because we changed the disposable every 2 hours, except overnight. Like someone else mentioned, by taking along our own consumables (pretty much had to while at sea..the ship's store was 3x the cost as on land!!! ) we had room for all the souvenirs.
