Some airports/airlines around the world offer a shrink wrap service to customers checking luggage on international flights. This service protects luggage by sealing the item in a plastic film.
1) Have you ever heard of this type of service before now?
2) Have you ever had any of your checked luggage shrink wrapped in the past?
American Airlines is considering introducing an inline shrink wrap service to customers traveling on international flights. This service would be offered by American Airlines for a nominal fee after your luggage had been inspected by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
As previously explained, this service would protect your checked luggage (suitcases, backpacks, boxes or bags) by sealing the entire item in a tough plastic film. The plastic film would safeguard your items from rain or other weather damage, as well as keep the contents secure.
3) Overall, how interested would you be in this proposed shrink wrap service?
4) With regard to who provides this service, does it make any difference to you whether this is an American Airlines "branded" service?
5) If the shrink wrap service cost $10 per item, how likely would you be to use this service?
6) Instead of $10, suppose the shrink wrap service were available at a cost of $7 per item. How likely would you be to use the shrink wrap service then?
7) Is this service one that you would use: (All the time/some of the time/...)
8) Would you use this shrink wrap service: (US versus non-US departures ...)
9) From which of the following US airports, would you likely use this shrink wrap service? (List of airports)
10) On a typical international flight, how many items do you think you would have shrink wrapped?
