Company policy says I can keep my miles and points, but must not cost the company any extra $$ in order to get them. I'm a stickler about such things, really I am, and it would bother me if someone began to suspect that I'm violating that policy. So, no, don't talk about it.
With one exception. A few years ago I advised my non-traveling sec'y to get a *wood CC, join iDine, and I tell her about various promos such as Dannon water. She tells her non-traveling kids, who are doctors and lawyers. Every year they treat her to some fabulous vacation on their $$. This year, she is "treating" them with the miles and points they've all earned over the years. Priceless.
