I've experienced this repeatedly, so I've taken to going to my Sent Items to be sure that they are actually being sent.
Also noticed that sometimes when I hit "Reply With Quote" in PM, it sometimes erases the FT member's user id and I have to enter it manually in order to send a PM. Doesn't happen all the time, though.
